The president of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, on November 25, decorated the President of the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC), FORTUNATO-OFA MBO NCHAMA by elevating him to the rank of Commander of the National Order of Chad for services rendered.

Appointed to this post in February 2017, the head of BDEAC, whose term of office is drawing to an end, came to inform the President of the Republic of the progress made in the execution of current programs and projects.

BEDAC is one of the major players in the financing of development projects in Chad within the framework of a partnership dating from 1975.

The President of the regional banking institution whose last interview with Mahamat Idriss Deby dates back to September 15, indicates that this partnership is called to be further strengthened to offer better living conditions to the population through the financing of socio-economic infrastructure.

The President of the Republic of Cameroon and current President of the Conference of Heads of State of CEMAC on July 20 this year, made Mr Fortunato-OFA MBO NCHAMA an officer of the National Order of Value of Cameroon. The honorary distinction was a recognition of Mr Fortunato's exceptional involvement in the historic success of the round table which took place in Paris on November 16 and 17, 2020 relating to the mobilization of resources for the financing of 11 integrative projects of the sub-region
